Located on the northeast shores of the island, the villa is in the village of Ngatangiia. See the map. The villa is set back off the main road on Tamaariki Drive for real privacy and quiet. Its elevated aspect provides stunning views over Muri Lagoon and the small islets a short distance off shore.   

AIRPORT TRANSFERS: Transfers can be arranged for you when you book.

GROCERIES:  A small complimentary welcome pack of tea,coffee, etcis provided on your arrival. Thereafter you can buy groceries at any of the roadside stores conveniently located close by. There are two food supermarkets in the main village of Avarua for your major purchases.

ISLAND CONTACTS:  Rentraro.com are your first point of contact if anything happens to the villa during your stay. Eg, broken window etc. You can rest assured that helps is never far away.

RENTAL VEHICLES:  On Raro almost all tourists cruise the island on small motorbikes. However you can also rent cars and bicycles if you wish to explore the island. Vehicles can be arranged if you wish.

BUS TRANSPORT:  Mon - Sat there are buses which take you around the island. A bus stop is located conveniently just down the road.

REEF SHOES:  While swimming in the lagoon is very safe, there cn be stone fish which if stood on provide a nasty sting. We suggest bringing reef shoes to protect your feet.

SMOKEFREE POLICY:  Muri Tamaariki Villa is a smokefree home. Please do not smoke in the villa. Smoking on the deck is permitted but we ask that you place your cigarette butts in the ash trays provided. Keep Raro clean! Thanks...
